About the Cover

Cover Figure

The endoplasmic reticulum resident protein, CerS1, translocates to the Golgi apparatus following chemotheraputic stress. HEK cells expressing the (dihydro)ceramide synthase 1, CerS1/LASS1, were treated with doxorubicin, resulting in the rapid translocation of the CerS1 protein to the Golgi apparatus. The nuclei are blue, and the colocalization of the green CerS1 protein and the red Golgi apparatus appears yellow. For details, see the article by Min and colleagues on p. 801.
