Representation of histopathology-orientated colorectal tissue microdissection followed by PCR analysis using AQAMA. Tissue section containing both cancerous tissue and adenomatous tissue was microdissected, DNA was isolated, and AQAMA PCR performed, respectively. AQAMA PCR demonstrates methylated and unmethylated MINT signals for cancerous tissue, and unmethylated MINT signal for adenomatous tissue. For details, see article by de Maat et al. on page 461.
