About the Cover

Cover Figure

TUNEL analysis showing increased cell death in intestinal polyps from ApcMin/+ c-myc+/- mice when compared to polyps isolated from ApcMin/+ c-myc+/+ mice. Representational field of an intestinal polyp from an ApcMin/+ c-myc+/- mouse following TUNEL staining. Deparaffinized tissue sections were permeabilized and then incubated with TUNEL reaction mixture containing TdT and fluorescein-dUTP, rinsed in PBS, mounted and analyzed using a Leica LSM 510 laser scanning microscope. ImagePro Plus software was used to quantify the number of TUNEL positive nuclei. For details, see the article by Yekkala and Baudino on page 1296.
