A few nicely grouped human dermal microvascular endothelial cells (HMEC) viewed by confocal microscopy at 60× magnification. In these cells, as well as in human breast cancer derived endothelial cells, the presence of oxytocin receptors all over the cell surface has been demonstrated by immunofluorescence using a specific monoclonal antibody directed against the oxytocin binding sites.
