Co-immunofluorescence demonstrating the localization of paxillin and actin in MDA-231 breast cancer cells grown on a fibronectin substrate. Paxillin was detected using an anti-paxillin monoclonal antibody followed by a goat anti-mouse Alexa555 (red), and actin was detected using an AlexaFluor 488 Phalloidin probe (green). Paxillin containing adhesions are detected in red at the ends of actin stress fibers (green). For details, see the article by Rodrigues et al. on p. 183.
