About the Cover

Cover Figure

Immunohistochemical analysis demonstrating elevated expression of N-acetyltransferase-1 (NAT-1) in estrogen receptor positive breast tumor tissue. The image shows a high percentage of tumor cells staining strongly for NAT-1 (brown). NAT-1 expression was identified as an upregulated protein in purified clinical breast cancer cells by comparative 2-D proteomics, and further independent studies demonstrated a strong association with estrogen receptor positive breast tumors. For details, see the article by Adam et al. on page 826.
